On Friday 28th November, Terminal 1 Check in B was awash with light and colour for the first ever MAG celebration of Diwali.
The event was attended by the Consul General of India, MAG Senior Leadership and many invited guests.
David, our Deputy Lead Chaplain shared the following quote from Rabbi Johnathan Sacks:
“You can see religion as a battle, a holy war, in which you win a victory for your faith by force or fear. Or you can see it as a candle you light to drive away some of the darkness of the world. The difference is that the first sees other religions as the enemy. The second sees them as other candles, not threatening mine, but adding to the light we share.”
From Optimism to Hope
After the festivities, refreshments were served and enjoyed by all who attended.
